We love a walk-in. We rarely have the room for one. The chair runs by appointment because the work is the kind that needs an unbroken hour, sometimes three. A drop-in pulls the room out of rhythm and shortens someone else.
Before you call
Two photographs help us more than any word. One of the length you have now, one of the length you want. Lighting on the front, daylight if you can. We will read both of them carefully and tell you what is reachable in one sitting and what needs two.
On the day
Arrive a few minutes early if you can. The kettle is on, and the consultation works better when no one is rushing. We will look at the porosity, the previous colour, and the shape of the head before any tools come out. Ten minutes of conversation saves an hour of regret.
Cancellations are kind when they are early. The chair, when it is empty, can rarely be filled inside the same morning.
